CERTIFICATION CLASSES Umpire Clinic January 21 and 22, 2012 Since CPLL is an all volunteer park, one of the requirements is that managers and coaches must umpire a certain amount of games. For Minor A and higher, managers are required to umpire five games and coaches three games. To help you improve your skills, CPLL is hosting a two day umpiring clinic on from 8 am - 5 pm on Saturday, January 21 and 8am - noon on Sunday, January 22, 2012. Some of the topics being taught will be plate mechanics, base mechanics, rule interpretations, and field decorum. CPR Classes For 2011 To be in compliance with Little League regulations, all managers and coaches are required to be certified in CPR. To help everyone achieve this, we have set up a CPR training session with a certified instructor. There are two dates available: Tuesday, February 1st and Thursday, February 3rd. Both sessions start at 7:00 pm in the boardroom at CP. The fee is $20 and you will be provided with a certification card at the end of the class. Space is limited and on a first come, first served basis.
