off to a good start at the Little League World Series is what the
team did, beating the Midwest representative from South Dakota in
a shortened affair, 10-0.

Gilcrease, Darren Miller and Kevin Merrell pitched a combined no
hitter through 4 complete innings.

OFF TO WILLIAMSPORT!
The
Citrus Park Little League baseball All Stars punched their ticket
to the Little League World Series Friday night as they won the Southeast
Regional Championship defeating Westside LL from Alabama, 11-0.
This
marks the first time in Citrus Park's history that they have sent
a baseball team to a World Series.

Citrus Park Big League Softball Wins Regional Tournament.
The
Citrus Park Big League Softball team inched closer to another
World Championship yesterday when they won the Southern Regional
Championship by defeating the host team, 12-0!
They
now prepare for the World Series which is to be played in Kalamazoo
Michigan beginning August 11.
